School Visits and Events

An artist visit to your school or event is a wonderful and memorable occasion for students and staff to learn about the creative path and working process of children’s book illustration, commercial art, and fine art painting. It is also an excellent and ideal opportunity to discover and instill concepts and ideas in creative learning.

As an award-winning children's book illustrator and professional working artist for more than twenty-five years, I’ve had the remarkable opportunity to meet and speak with numerous individuals and groups, of all ages: at schools, libraries, museums, and conferences across the country. Through vivid presentations I describe my love for art, reading, and learning, along with the experiences, and influences, that have helped shape me as an artist. It is this gift that I aspire to share with audiences and to inspire our next generation of young artists and creative minds as they travel on their educational journey in life.
